Construction

Our Construction Division is a key service offering at PML. The division grew out of the opportunities that arose from the Service and Retrofit divisions. As many of our retrofit projects began to grow in size, the skill sets required to secure these projects and manage the process changed. The sheer duration of these projects combined with the financial requirements dictated the need for a high-functioning and professional estimating team within the Construction Division. Our first major construction project was the Holiday Inn Casino on West Broadway in Vancouver.

Over the years, PML has worked on commercial, residential, and institutional installations. Our Construction Division consists of a number of groups working together to provide value to our customers. These include the estimating group, project management group as well as support personnel in accounting and purchasing. Our construction crew includes a full complement of our own licensed technicians for plumbing, pipefitting, heating, air conditioning, and project supervision. We also have expert sub-trades for sheet metal, insulation, and controls. We are also moving strongly to a design/build, design/assist model, which allows our construction group to work with our clients and our design personnel. Whether your project is bid and spec or negotiated, we are very familiar with either model and welcome the opportunity to provide you with an estimate of fees. We are flexible in our approach to construction projects and will work closely with our clients to ensure you get the finished product you desire.
