Special Projects

A subsidiary of the Service and Maintenance Division is the Special Projects team.  The team evolved in direct response to our customers’ requests for improved systems without the major expense of construction projects. Essentially, Special Projects is focused on replacing equipment that can no longer be maintained or isn’t performing adequately.  It is now a multi-million dollar aspect of PML’s Service and Maintenance Division.  Initially, Special Projects was focused solely on replacing equipment. Over time, that focus expanded to include tenant improvements, energy upgrades, and HVAC upgrades. Still, replacement of equipment and piping continues to be a significant portion of the overall volume of PML’s work. The division reports to the Service Operations manager and orchestrates the estimators and project managers who implement contracts and see them through to completion.
