Field Coordinator (Temporary 3-month contract)

We are hiring a Temporary Field Coordinator for a project in Burnaby, BC. The contract length will be 3-months. The Field Coordinator will handle site administration and maintain project document control. This role involves working closely with the Major Projects Manager and General Foreman to manage administrative tasks related to the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Scan and file documents accurately, including matching packing slips with requisition forms.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, manage, and analyze spreadsheets.
  • Field Time and Payroll Knowledge: Track and record employee hours and payroll data accurately using field time and payroll grids.
  • Packing Slip Management: Collect, organize, and file packing slips systematically.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to PML safety standards and all relevant safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC): Collaborate with the QA/QC team to document the construction process, including taking photographs prior to wall closures and filing them in the FTQ system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • Construction industry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Must have steel toe boots
