ICU Nanaimo

The new ICU will be three times the current unit’s size and will include improvements such as 12 larger single-patient rooms, ceiling mounted service booms and overhead patient lifts, a medication room, a family consult room, and a staff break room and rest area.

The Boot

The Boot is a mixed-use project consisting of two 35-storey towers both standing on a large podium. One tower consists of 303 apartments of various configurations of one-bed and two-bed units, and the other tower is a Marriott Residence Inn with 390 guest rooms. The podium spaces below the apartment tower contain a ground floor lobby and 7,200 sq. ft. of retail space, and four levels of above-grade parking for residents, housing 198 cars. Below these podium levels is two levels of parking, housing 208 cars, intended for commercial rent to hotel guests, retail customers, and visitors to the apartment tower. The project location is on the former site of the Alberta Boot Company.

Axis

The Axis is a residential tower located in the Chancellor Place neighbourhood on the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus. The tower is comprised of studios and one bedroom units ranging from 410 to 550 sf. The tower stretches 15 storeys tall, with many homes having unobstructed views of the water, city and North Shore mountains. Modern finishes, full kitchens and energy-efficient appliances including dishwasher and in-suite laundry are standard throughout. PML’s Scope of work on the project included Plumbing and HVAC.

Uptown Towers

Uptown is a mixed-use project in Coquitlam. The project features a large grocery store, two residential towers, an onsite wellness pavilion, and many amenities for shopping and dining. The Tower 1 features 216 suites, across 29 storeys and Tower 2 features 236 suites across 31 storeys.
