Southpointe Academy is a private educational institutional located in Delta BC, serving students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The project, completed in January 2012, features a brand new 68,000 square foot facility. PML provided full mechanical contracting services including design review and value engineering services to the owner and Omicron to arrive at a guaranteed maximum price for the scope established by the client. A group source geoexchange loop connected to water/water heat pumps is the primary source of cooling and heating for the building with load side distribution to four pipe unit ventilators and fan coils.
